Before programming this smart key, follow these steps:

1. Remove the trunk floor trim panel and locate the SPID label.

2. Check for RPO code XL7 or XL8.

   • If upgraded, the dealer should have marked XL8 over XL7.

   • This smart key will only work on XL8-equipped vehicles.

3. Reinstall the trunk floor trim panel.
